Ruskins guest accommodation comprises 9 luxurious bedrooms (all ensuite) and is situated at the head of Monsal Dale overlooking the famous Monsal viaduct. Ruskins was purpose built in 1861 to cater for the modern Victorian tourist and continues to flourish as the perfect base from which to explore the Peak District. Ruskins welcomes guests from all over the world
Room rates: between £60.00 and £80.00 per room per night based on 2 people sharing. Rooms 3, 4, 8 and 9 have a full view of Monsal Dale and the viaduct. Delicious evening meals are available from a number of local pubs, all within easy walking distance.

Ruskins is named after the artist and philanthropist John Ruskin, who was also the leading force behind a hard fought campaign to stop the railway coming to Monsal Dale in the 1850’s.
